     Some say that the Fall is the best time of year to visit SF Zoo with the warm late summer weather and the return of everyone’s favorite Fall activity – our giant hay maze! Happy Hollow Hay Maze As the largest hay structure in San Francisco, come navigate the Happy Hollow Hay Maze made up of over 600 strategically placed and stacked straw covering an expanse of 5,000 square feet. With short stacks and high stacks, kids of all ages can work to find their way through a labyrinth of bundled straw, from start to finish, and see what surprises they’ll discover along the way (hint: perhaps a hay pit?)! Hay Maze is open now until November 4. PURCHASE TICKETS Boo at the Zoo Everyone’s favorite Halloween event is back! Boo at the Zoo will take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 26 & 27 with the highlight as always, a chance to dress up in costume for the 12 noon Costume Parade and Contest as families, groups, and individuals come as their favorite super hero, animal species or the latest kids’ craze. New this year is the Franken-stomp Dance Party which will take place after the costume party at the playground area. We hope you will all join the music and fun!
